Packings from EPS and XPS foams

Styrofoam packaging works exceptionally well for transporting and storing fragile items. The material’s properties and cushioning design absorb shocks and impacts while remaining lightweight. With the ability to cut custom shapes using CNC cutting machines, packaging shapes can be perfectly tailored to the product, providing protection even for the most fragile items. Styrofoam and extruded polystyrene (styrodur) are materials that can be easily and environmentally safely disposed of, making them eco-friendly choices.

      LYNX TERMCUT U line of hot wire cutters are CNC machines with a large working area, used for the production of elements of different ranges and lengths.

  • How to prepare design file?

    The design file can be prepared directly in the CAD program, which is standard equipment of each CNC foam cutter. You can also import vector graphics previously prepared with such tools as AutoCAD, Corel Draw, or Adobe Illustrator.

  • What file formats does the CNC cutter support?

    Our software supports import of EPS, AI, DXF, DWG, PLT (HPGL), and G-CODE files.

  • Will the ready elements be identical and repeatable?

    Yes! Our goal is to come up with cutters that meet highest standards. The final elements will be identical regardless of the material type.

  • Does operating the CNC foam cutter require advanced skills?

    No! Our software is intuitive. Operating training (which is a part of our service) requires only a few hours of training. The software features and settings are installed and configured ,so even operators with no prior experience with similar devices won’t meet any obstacles or difficulties using it.
